Financial Planning

The first and crucial step in our financial planning process is to get to know our clients and find out what's important to them – this exercise goes well beyond the numbers on paper.  Next, we perform a S.W.O.T (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis on 6 key financial planning areas:

  • Financial Position
  • Investment Planning
  • Tax Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Protection Planning
  • Estate Planning

Regardless of the level of planning you desire, each financial planning client receives a personalized and detailed Action Plan.  This plan is proactively monitored by holding review sessions with clients on a regular basis and adjusted as needed.

Here are examples of areas that we can help with:

  • Portfolio analysis including risk analysis, market exposure and asset allocation.
  • Current Financial Position assessment – Balance Sheet, Net Worth and Cash Flow
  • Retirement readiness assessment
  • Tax planning for portfolio management and retirement strategies
  • Cash Management
  • Protection Planning assessment – Life, Disability Income and Long Term Care
  • Divorce financial planning
  • Estate & Legacy Planning

Quick Retirement Readiness Assessment

This is a less expensive alternative to our traditional comprehensive retirement planning process with a quick turnaround (1 week). You would complete a 1 page fact finder that would enable us to perform a simple retirement assessment.  This analysis would indicate whether or not you are on track for retirement and if not, what adjustments you could make to better improve your outlook.

The fee for this assessment is $350.  If the outcome of this analysis prompts you to want to take a more detailed approach to retirement planning, we can apply this fee towards the cost of obtaining a more in-depth analysis when you are ready. Learn more here
